January 26th is Australia Day. This year James Rush (a Sydney boy) hosted a party in honour of the wide brown land from which we both hale, there was lots of Aussie food and drink and lots of people (including a handful of Aussies) to help with the celebration. There was even a reading of some Aussie poetry by James, which was a fair-dinkum bobby dazzler. The recipe for my bloody marvelous meat pies can be found HERE.
