Getting the Haskell 1.3 Report

A postscript version of the report is available at ftp://haskell.cs.yale.edu/pub/haskell/report/haskell-report.ps.gz. This file is about 200K and the report is about 140 pages long.

The html version of the report is also available as ftp://haskell.cs.yale.edu/pub/haskell/report/html-report.tar.gz. This is the web page for the full report and some of the extra commentary. A few of the links lead back to the master page at Yale (the erratta and the libraries, among others) since these are still being updated. All sections in the report are anchored; online documentation can hyperlink to the report on a section by section basis (but not to specific paragraphs in the sections unless you add anchors by hand). We encourage Haskell implementors to include this version of the report in distributions.

If you have a slow ftp connection, you can also get the report as ftp://haskell.cs.yale.edu/pub/haskell/report/haskell-report.dvi.gz. This dvi file has one postscript figure, ftp://haskell.cs.yale.edu/pub/haskell/report/class-fig.eps.gz, which you can add using dvips or simply omit.

Hardcopies of the report will be available from Yale. We will be charging $10 for copies of the report. We really don't want to be in the buisness of sending out printed reports - it would be much better if you could print your own. The printed reports will not be available until June 1. Contact Linda Joyce (joyce-linda@cs.yale.edu) to order printed reports.

The sources for the report are not yet available. However, the files in the standard Prelude can be found at ftp://haskell.cs.yale.edu/pub/haskell/report/prelude-files.tar.gz. I will soon make the the online report available but at the moment I'm still working on it.
